MS Thesis Option

Your supervisory committee is responsible for approving your academic program of study, approving the subject for your project/thesis, reading and approving all necessary writings associated with your project/thesis, and administering and judging your final oral examination. The chair of your supervisory committee will direct your research and writing in order to prepare you for your final defense. Decisions concerning your program requirements, examinations, and/or your project/thesis will be made by majority vote of your supervisory committee.

Committee Membership

Your supervisory committee must consist of three faculty members, the majority of whom must be tenure-line faculty in the Chemical Engineering department. If one of your members is not a University employee please check with Wanda to see if their CV is needed. Any outside members must email their acceptance to wanda.brown@chemeng.utah.edu.
