Abstract – A Process Engineer’s Perspective of Separations Flow Sheets
Flow sheets are the process engineer’s roadmap to integrating unit operations in accomplishing overall process objectives. WesTech Engineering is a global manufacturer of separations equipment for industry and municipalities. WesTech has gathered and produced thousands of process flow sheets over the last 40 years. During this seminar we will discuss a few interesting flow sheets, how they were developed and how they performed.
Biography:
Jeff Easton is Process Engineering Manager – WesTech Engineering, Inc., in Salt Lake City. Jeff graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in mechanical engineering and has spent the 28 years in process engineering of liquid solid separation equipment for WesTech. He is currently a Chemical Engineering PhD candidate at the University of Utah where his research topic is treatment of hydraulic fracturing flowback and produced water for reuse.
